Appointments are available throughout the week, we also offer early morning and late evening appointments to fit around your commitments. Weekend appointments are also available for all our clients. Please get in touch if you require a specific appointment time, we can usually accommodate any requests.

North Western Vet Physio works under The Veterinary Surgeons Act, which requires veterinary referral/consent to be gained prior to every animal we see. This ensures your animal receives the best possible treatment with a holistic approach for the entire team of veterinary professionals involved with your animals care. Veterinary referral can be obtained by returning a completed referral form or if you would prefer, after enquiring about veterinary physiotherapy we will get in touch with your veterinary surgeon. Please click here to download a veterinary referral form.

Areas Covered

There is no travel charge within the area shown on the map which includes Preston, Longridge and Chorley. Outside of this area a small travel charge is applied, which can be seen on the map. We cover Liverpool and Southport to the west, to the north Lancaster, Kendal and South Lakes. To the east we cover Burnley, Manchester and into West Yorkshire, and to the south we cover St Helens, Wigan and Warrington.

Travel costs do not apply if three or more animals are treated at one location.

Multiple Animals at One Location

We are conscious of reducing our carbon footprint here at North Western Vet Physio, there is no travel charge if three or more animals are treated at one location. If you would like to book a day or half day of appointments at your yard, kennels or training club please get in touch to discuss your individual requirements.

Terms and Conditions

Treatment is subject to the Veterinary Surgeons Act (1966) specifing that all animals must have veterinary referral/consent. If this is not provided, the animal will not be treated and the full appointment fee will be charged.
Any animals suffering from sickness, diarrhoea or parasite infections may be refused treatment.
All animals should be presented clean and dry to their appointment. Animals who are wet and dirty may be unable to receive treatment and the full appointment fee charged as a missed appointment.
Payment in full is due on the day of the appointment.
If your animal is insured and you will be claiming for your animals treatment, payment is due at the time of the appointment.
Appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment time will be subject to 50% of the appointment fee. Cancellations within 24 hours 100% of the appointment fee is due. Depending on the circumstances this fee may be waived.
Arriving late by 30 minutes or more to an appointment without prior notification will be deemed as a missed appointment. We understand that unforeseen events occur with short notice but please always try to contact us at the first available opportunity.
Cancellations due to COVID-19 are exempt from any cancellation fees, although we appreciate if you can provide as much notice as you possible prior to your appointment.
Following repeat cancellations/rescheduling of appointments, North Western Vet Physio reserves the right to request payment in full of all appointment fees and any applicable cancellation charges in advance when re-booking.
